While not an actual story, it is accurate as a complete description of how girls tend to react when confronted with half-way decomposed, dessicated
and otherwise mutilated dead bodies that have been lying around a swamp somewhere for a few centuries, as opposed to the way boys tend to react.
Girls usually go: "Oh... that's not a real body is it? Is it? It is? Oooh nooo... Ew!"
Boys are more like: "Hey, look, his skull is totally caved in. Oh, and somebody gutted him while he was alive. Cool."
