Hmm... stepping away from the colours for a moment, here's an experiment with grayscale.
And I dunno, really. It's easier than colours, since you only have to think about shades of black...
But then again, it also looks kinda flat, and takes about the same amount of time as actual colour.
Meh... I think I'll just stick with semi-toned B/W.
